I feel most at home when I am on the trail with a camera in hand – searching for creative ways to summarize the trip. Photography is the conduit for my ongoing exploration of the great outdoors. This craft has taught me to stop counting the miles on the trail and to start enjoying the little things. It encourages me to stay up late trying to capture the stars and it gets me up early in the morning to see the sunrise. Photography is my way of connecting with others – leaving them with a small slice of our adventure that they can keep forever. While visiting over thirty countries and serving three overseas tours in the U.S. Army, I was exposed to many incredible sights. It was during this time that I honed my skills for documenting things while on the go – and now I am excited to share this with more people.
